Third space

The Third Space programme line brings to life all the rooms in ARCHA+ except the Great and Small Halls. The name itself is based on the sociological concept of third places, which describes spaces between home, school or work where people gather and spend their free time. Come and see the events that fall into the following series:

Tea

A series featuring talks from guests and guest speakers from a variety of industries. Some of them discuss current pop culture phenomena such as currently trending movies, TV shows, internet memes, social networks as well as musicians and musicians. In addition, there will also be lectures reflecting, for example, the current rave culture and related safer space, or other activities typical for the young generation.

Listening events will take place on the ceiling of the small hall and will also feature a quiet atmosphere – cushions, loungers, rugs or aromatic oils.

Stove

A series of debates prepared for ARCHU+ by the Spora section of the blog Podhoubí. The debates take place after theatre performances and the selection of the reflected productions is curated by Spora members. The resulting form of the debates attempts to erase the hierarchical ordering that is typical of debates. Conversation is therefore interspersed with collaborative activities such as preparing food, cutting out pictures or making jewellery.

DIY

A series of workshops that frame tattoo, cooking, or upcycle workshops. However, future plans also include workshops on tax return filling.

The Tide

A cycle of projects that fall outside our dramaturgical frameworks – whether one-off events, guest initiatives or rentals. We give space to what comes and let it flow.
